Brief Background |
| |
After a grand success
of badminton tournaments held during August 2006 we are
now pleased to announce the tournaments for other
exciting games – Table Tennis, Carom and Chess. These
will be held on Sat-Sun 9th and
10th Dec 2006 at Maharashtra Mandal London,
306 Dollis Hill Lane, London NW6 2HH. |
| |
|
| |
Sports club has started from January 2006 and it
has been growing both in terms of quantity and quality.
Badminton tournament have unveiled some exceptionally
good players. Taking this quality into
consideration there is a thought to carry this further
into league tournaments in the UK. We can follow suit
for Table Tennis, Carom and Chess depending on the zeal,
response and attitude to go ahead and win. |
| |
|
| |
We were fortunate enough to have some league
players around us who have cordially accepted to do the
coaching to those who are interested. |
| |
|
| |
Many of us have played these games long time
back (10 – 15 years) and after that because of daily
hustle-bustle it is left behind somewhere in memories.
With beer bellies increasing and life getting humdrum it
is time to spice it up again and explore those energetic
days when the adrenalin used to flow for these
competitions. It is a great event for networking
wherein you can meet likeminded individuals and have a
laugh or two. |
| |
|
| |
Get your sports kit out of the junkyard, wear it
and come to practice and get in shape for the
tournaments. There is no good feeling than to have some
really good games wherein you play a bit, muscle a bit
(physical, brain cells) and sweat a
bit. |
