About Dhol-TashaDhol Beats uk

MML Dhol Beats UK is a very unique and the only band in UK which play Traditional Maharastrian Dhol Tasha. Initially it was limited to Ganeshotsav in Maharashtra Mandal but since Aug 2012 it became more streamlined and regular activity throughout the year. Dhol Beats UK is getting more popular day be day. People from different cultures really enjoy the unique rhythms of Dhol Tasha.

We perform all over London/ UK throughout the year. We have performed on various places including Diwali Celebration on Trafalgar Square, World Cultural Event, Holi Celebration in City of London etc.

Major Performances Dhol Tasha

  • 8/7/2014 Basingstok

    This was a world cultural event, where performers of different cultures from all over world came together to celebrate this event. This event was in Basingstok.

  • 12/7/2014 Guruporunima procession

    Guruporunima procession organised by Sai Baba temple Wembley in Barham Park on the occasion of Gurupournima, Saibaba temple webley organised a procession from Saibaba temple to Barham Park and we played throughout the procession with few other dhol players.

  • 12/10/2014 Croydon Marathi Circle

    On the occasion on Dasara, Croydon MNarathi Circle organised an event. We started an an event with rocking performance of traditional Dhol-Tasha.

  • 4/12/2014 Illford MItra Mandal

    New year event for illford mitra mandal. We have started a new year celebration with traditional dhol beats

  • 22/3/2015 Gudhi Padva - Slough

    On the occasion of Marathi New year, Slogh Mitra Mandal organised a traditional marathi procession on the Slough High Street. Everybody on street enjoyed the beats and started dancing on Dhol Beats !!!

  • 15/3/2015 Holi celebration

    Indians in London organised an Holi event at Indian Jymkhana. I don't have photos of this event.
