The Entertainment - POPCORN
Niche Entertainment, Pune is a
quality production house that has presented the musical “Gulzar…Baat Pashmine Ki”, which created an uproar in
UK
in
October 2006, and followed it up with “Bhairav
te Bhairavi” in June 2007. All its
creations are designed to walk the fine line between dignified, critically
acclaimed entertainment and popularity.
“Popcorn”
is another feather in their cap. It is a musical for the young, by the young,
of the young -.for all those young at heart. The gen-now melodies wrapped up in
a novel presentation, appeals not only to us but also to the generation gone
by. It’s a clean entertaining show proving to the gone generation that melody
still exists- in spite of the apparent “commotion”.
The core
thought of the presentation is Gold need not necessarily be Old.
“Pop
Corn” is a fun show full of glamour, dance and music presenting the latest
hits. The highlight of the show is the novel way of presentation, which is
hilarious and entertaining.
Actor Anand Ingale in various get ups and
roles represent a cross section on characters which form hilarious interludes
to the songs, supported by one or two local actors.
The
singers - well known all over
India
- are Hrishikesh Ranade and Swarada Gokhale who have been seen and
heard in our earlier productions.
The
language of presentation is Hinglish/Minglish – something we all speak, and the
songs are in Hindi. The rough duration will be 90-120 minutes.
The Food - Indian Zing

“Indian Zing is one of the top ten Indian
Restaurant in
London
and The South East.” The Times (The Knowledge
Magazine), Nov 2006
Named as one of the
top 5 Indian restaurants in
London
. Fay Maschler, Evening Standard March 2006
“Everything here is nicely understated: the
welcome is warm but not gushing,
China
and glass sparkle, and the
bill is extremely fair. Value for money 10/10 Jeremy
Wayne, Guardian March 2006
His
impressive CV includes time spent in some of the best Indian restaurant
kitchens in Mumbai and
London
,
more recently Just India in Putney had lots of accolade from the national and
